CYCLING
Made famous by the Tour de France, this area is a Mecca for cyclists. Whether you prefer the quiet country lanes or the more challenging mountain climbs there is something for everyone. We are perfectly located between the famous TDF cols of Aspin and Tourmalet. There are plenty of exciting tracks For VTT fans too. We have a secure dry barn to store your bikes. Tim and Jane are both keen cyclists and members of local clubs so can offer lots of advice regarding routes and cols. No need to take the car - from the gite it is possible to cycle the cols of Tourmalet (the official start is in our village), Aspin, Hourquette, Aubisque, Hautacam, Peyresourde, Azet, Soulor, Luz Ardiden, Plat d'Adet, Palombiere, not to mention the beautiful and challenging rolling hills of the Baronies.
WALKING
The Pyrenees is a paradise for walkers offering endless marked walks for all levels. Walk directly from the gite or take a short car ride and explore the breathtaking national parks mountain lakes and wildlife. Visit the Pont d'Espagne and Pyrenean National Parks.

There's plenty to do - visit the famous Pic du Midi Observatory, Lourdes, horse riding, paragliding, white water rafting, climbing, fishing, golf, relaxing spas, markets, historical towns and castles. If you want to go further afield, we are only one and half hours drive from Spain.
